Around the world, people aspire to master a foreign language — to advance their careers, explore other cultures, and make meaningful global connections. Yet, even with countless language-learning tools available, the “final 10%” of fluency—including accent reduction, pronunciation, and spelling—remains the hardest to achieve.
Most online platforms lack real interaction. Learners study alone, which often becomes dull, isolating, and ineffective.
ZOUNDSLIKE empowers an international community of learners to support one another and sharpen communication skills — one word at a time.
Zoundslike
Zoundslike is simple, entertaining, and effective. Players choose a target language, select their desired level, and pick a role — either as a Speaker or a Speller. Once the game begins, the Speaker receives a “digital deck” of words visible only to them. Their task is to clearly enunciate each word so the Speller can spell it correctly. Success relies on teamwork and clear communication.
At the end of each round, players are taken to the Results Page, where they can review their performance. Every correctly spelled word earns a point. The Results Page also offers deeper insights into the words used — including definitions, example sentences, and correct pronunciation.
